While the FCGH Alliance hopes to reach as many people around the world as possible, we lack the resources to pay professionals for the translation of the website, nor even of important texts. Furthermore, the free online instant-translation tools are not yet good enough for easy comprehension, which is essential if we will gather together a very broad participation in the development of a global treaty on the right to health. It’s already a complicated subject so that any translation must be as clear and accessible as humanly possible.
So thanks to an ‘in-house’ collaborative effort in translation, a basic ‘One-Pager’ about the FCGH and the Alliance is now available in six languages. Please find below the links to the Spanish, English, Hindi, Chinese, Swahili, and French versions, in PDF formats. We will be posting the HTML versions, and also a number of additional languages, in the coming weeks.

We would welcome, and be grateful for any suggestions on how we could improve these translations. Also, any assistance with translating documents into Tamil, Bahasa, Portuguese, Arabic, Hausa, Russian, Zulu, German, and other languages would be very appreciated — and the paragraph below would be a great start!
“The Framework Convention on Global Health (FCGH) is a proposed international treaty, rooted in the right to health, that has been developed by leading health and law experts over the last decade. To advance from an innovative idea to a legally-binding instrument that enables real improvements to the lives of billions of people around the world, a non-profit NGO has recently been created under Swiss civil law. Driven by a diverse and dynamic membership, united for global health justice, the new FCGH Alliance is now activating.”
